Features

In the tab "Admin" (menu entry "Features"), different optional elements of docuteam feeder can be activated or disabled.

Activation and Disabling

Features can be either fully activated or disabled. Both can be configured by using the buttons Fully Disable or Fully Enable when selecting a specific feature.

If a feature should only be activated or disabled for a specific organization, one can enter organization;100 under Add an actor. The number 100 needs to be replaced by the organization ID (which is visible in the feeder URL).

deposition_ui

If this option is deactivated, the tab "Depositions" is deactivated in the feeder web interface. Accordingly, depositions cannot be upload manually in feeder and it is not possible to consult the list of depositions in feeder. On the other hand, creating depositions using the bridge API is still possible. When the feature is deactivated, it is possible to manually upload a SIP when starting a workflow (like in Release 5.3).

manage_depositions_with_feeder

If this option is activated, feeder will update the status of a deposition after excecuting a workflow (either to "archived" or "failed"). If it is disabled, the status of the depositions must be manually update using the bridge API or an actions step.

continuation_workflows_as_events

If this option is activated, the drop-down menus for selecting a follow-up workflow are disabled when editing a workflow. Follow-up workflows which were already defined are not executed. If this option is activated, follow-up workflows need to be defined by using event handlers.
