In docuteam sirius, alongside the fundamental functions of a digital reading room—such as search and tectonics (structure)—it is also possible to present additional content in various ways. Three content page types are available for this purpose: Archive Pages, Article Pages, and Participation Pages.
Archive Page
The Archive Page serves as a welcome page for the respective archive. In addition to an engaging "Mood" image, it can also contain contact information, a description, and links to the search function or the site structure.
The image above shows the lower half of the page; the tab bar—which features structure, search, etc., and is a permanent fixture in sirius—is also located at the very top of Archive Pages.
Article Page
Article Pages allow information to be presented alongside image files. A "Mood" image at the top of the page sets the tone for the content. Following this, text can be presented across multiple paragraphs along with various images. Another feature of Article Pages is "Archive References" which point to specific elements within the archive's tectonics (structure), as well as "Teasers" which can link to other articles or related content.
Participation Page
Through the comment function on Participation Pages, website visitors can contribute their own knowledge—for instance, to help categorize images more accurately. Participation Pages can be found under the "Contribute" (Beitragen) tab.
Before being published, comments are reviewed and approved by the website's editorial team (see Moderating Comments).
