Access to search and creating reports
The menu on the left offers a global search function, in addition to direct access to records and authority data.
With search, descriptions can primarily be searched by any text and accross fields.

Search also supports more complex queries that can combine different fields and sort by them. A result list can then be further narrowed down with filters and finally exported as a report in Excel format for further processing.

Search is as central as the flexible data model
For docuteam context, search is a functionality that decisively shapes the app’s high flexibility and its seamless use in existing workflows.
We consider search to be similarly important as the flexible yet always standards‑compliant data model, which we keep adaptable through configurable forms.
We therefore place great emphasis on continuously expanding it, with the goal that reports and overviews can be easily created, exported in different formats, and further processed in external systems. In the future, search will also be the starting point for PDF reports and bulk updates.
Currently, there is no dedicated search for locations, agents, places, and concepts. However, the filter offered in the lists already allows you to search for character strings within the titles of these entities.
